Hi! :D I know I haven't been here on my blog for a while (though I have posted on my other blog)... I was out of town and off the computer for 12 days and am only just beginning to get back into the swing of things again.
My trip was wonderful! :) I was with one of my brothers and his kids while his wife was out of town. I love that family!!! :D The bus ride home was also as wonderful as they always are! :D I got to talk to many wonderful people and feel like I was making a positive difference in the lives of a few people! Yeah! A dream continually come true! :D
As my nieces and nephews said goodbye to me at the bus station we hugged and kissed each other, then the 6 year old said to me, "Aunt Corine, can you come back and see us again tomorrow?" My heart melted... "It takes all day to get from my house to yours." I told him, "There is no way I can come see you again tomorrow." His reply was something of an understanding compromise - for the wealthy, ;) ~ "Well..., can you come see us again next month?" I don't know how soon I will be blessed to return, but I can tell you this... I will be doing my best to return as quickly as life permits... :) One thing I have learned in life is that the more love you give away, the more love comes back to you... :D
BTW - Here are a few photos of this beautiful family talking to their mom Face-Time. The camera was awful, but the memories are beautiful...
Now, a little about me and one of my favorite songs (which Miles found this on line today - yeah! :D)...
When I was a small child I sang many wonderful songs at church in Primary. Give, Said the Little Stream was one of my favorites. I was always one of the smallest kids for my age and knew I was "little" for as long as I can remember. I think my favorite line was this, "I'm small I know but wherever I go, the grass grows greener still." I LOVED the idea that a "little" stream could give so much and bring so much life and joy into the world. This has been a major goal of mine ever since... to be like that little stream and "give oh give away." :)
Corine :D

I almost got all 5 kids and their dad in this photo - see the red sleeve behind the boy in blue? :) |
My sister in law is a great decorator. I love the Valentine decorations she made - This one was rearranged now and then, courtesy of the kids... :) |
